Production Manager

The Production Manager plans, coordinates, and controls the production process. Production Managers are also responsible for ensuring that software and all systems are functioning correctly. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform outreach to potential guests and panelists. 

  • Responsible for the correspondence and inquiries for all show guests and panelists. 

  • Planning, coordinating, and managing production schedules. 

  • Complete update of both the production sheets and templates. 

  • Maintaining the production drive, which includes cleanup and organizing. 

  • Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to the production team. 

  • Communicating regularly with Production Director regarding problems or issues impacting production. 

  • Assess the needs of the show, including presenters, team members. and equipment.

  • Managing quality control standards within the production department. 

  • Managing the maintenance and repair of production equipment and software. 

  • Supervising and training junior staff. 

  • Before production begins, your work will involve: 

○ Verify Streamyard is functioning properly and check connectivity. 

○ Meet the Host and other guest panelists (if applicable) to go over any last-minute questions or concerns prior to show going Live; add any pertinent information to Streamyard’s ribbons. 

  • During the broadcast, duties include: 

○ making sure that the production runs to schedule

○ managing the production schedule. 

○ managing the production team. 

  • Required to attend all Staff meetings as well as production meetings.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience with production as a director or manager. 

  • Excellent organization, time management, and leadership skills. 

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity Google Suite. 

  • Confident and good decision-making ability with attention to detail. 

  • Outstanding communication ability. 

  • Attention to detail. 

  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
